Here's the shape that does:

Deterministic, Zod-validated logic reading from an admin-editable settings table. The LLMs sit upstream — parsing inbound leads — and downstream — scoring voice calls. They never touch the decision itself.

Why the decision can't be a model call:

The decision must be auditable — every yes/no traces to a settings-table row at a timestamp.
It must be replayable — same inputs, same verdict, Monday or Friday.
It must be version-controlled — a decision from March is re-runnable in December against March's rules.

A deterministic engine gives you all three for free. An LLM-in-the-loop gives you none.
